Biography

A self-confessed Noisician, Paula Temple has been producing and DJ/live performances for many years all over Europe at highly regarded festivals and clubs. Over the years Paula’s supporters include Claude Young, the late John Peel, Technasia and Dave Clarke.

Since her debut release ‘The Speck of The Future’ in 2002 on techno vanguard Chris McCormack’s label Materials, Paula’s tracks have appeared on Jeff Mill’s Exhibitionist (Chicago), Federation of Drums (Frankfurt) and Dust Science (Sheffield). She ran her own underground radio show, Virtual Future Music, which won an award with BBC Radio One. Paula co-developed the innovative live performance midi controller MXF8, one of the first of its kind, which she took on the ‘Mind and Machine’ tour for three years.

In 2012 Paula returned to the studio working on new futuristic techno as Paula Temple, experimental electronica as Fragile X, beautiful detroit-inspired techno as Jaguar Woman and hard-hitting electro indie dance with Swiss electronic music producer Stefanie B as Spank Protest.

Paula’s new material under her various guises will be released throughout 2013 onwards, starting with the dark epic ‘Ant Colony’ on R&S Records in April.

Her latest brainchild Noise Manifesto is a music label and a platform for innovative electronic music collaborations that do not follow the norms. Noise Manifesto’s vision are laid out in a public declaration, The Noise Manifesto.
