The 348th (2013 February) issue of The Wire magazine will see the Brooklyn synth explorer Daniel Lopatin on its cover, talking technological illusions, video game theory and cinema for the ear with The Wire’s Derek Walmsley.

In the meantime, you can stream The Fall Into Time from the magazine’s website . The release is a collection of unreleased material from Lopatin’s original Rifts sessions, and is part of the recently reissued Rifts box set. The expanded version of Rifts, originally released on No Fun in 2009, is out now on Lopatin’s own Software label as a 5xLP/3xCD set.
